Breitling and IRONMAN have signed a long-term partnership to jointly design the Endurance Pro IRONMAN watch, a special collection of Breitling's ultimate sports and leisure timepieces. The result is a perfect set of lightweight and effortless luxury sports watches that combine high precision, innovative technology and a vibrant, colorful design. The launch introduces two exciting new timepieces: a red model, available in all Breitling boutiques and retailers worldwide and at www.breitling.com for sports and timekeeping enthusiasts, a black and gold model, Exclusively for IRONMAN® event finishers. Additional models reserved for the IRONMAN community are scheduled to launch in the coming months.
In 2019, Breitling and IRONMAN have launched the very successful Breitling Super Ocean IRONMAN Limited Edition. This new partnership kicks off a long-term collaboration with Breitling as the new official luxury watch for IRONMAN.
To celebrate the partnership and showcase the watch for the first time, a special event was held last night at the Breitling boutique in Beverly Hills, featuring Thierry Prisset, President of Breitling America, and Andrew Andrews, President and CEO of IRONMAN Group. Born in Switzerland, Breitling's native country, Daniela Ryf is a five-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion and four-time IRONMAN World Champion.
The third team member was Chris “Macca” McCormack from Australia, who won the IRONMAN World Championship twice in 2007 and 2010. He also won the 2012 ITU World Championships in the Long Distance.
All three represent the best of the Ironman triathlon competition, bringing together three disciplines into the world's most challenging one-day competition, including a 2.4-mile (3.8 km) ) of the bike and 26.2 miles (42.2 km) of running.
